We have learned how to drop and pick up colors working with one color plus the back ground color.

There are 2 way to work with multi colors. The easiest way is to keep you colors clumped together, as in the heart example below.
You may think this sample was worked horizontally like in the white hearts on pick background, but you would be wrong. It was worked vertically instead. This way you aren’t constantly dropping and picking up colors. You work one, finish and add another.
