MATERIALS:
1-1\2” Red Heart Designer Sport Yarn in Dutch Blue (3315) and White (3), size H crochet hook or hook to obtain gauge, needle to take yarn, 4 snaps, sewing needle and sewing thread.
GAUGE: 4 hdc sts = 1”, 3 rows hdc = 1”
FINISHED SIZE: Will fit a 12-inch baby doll
BOTTOM:
ROW 1: With Blue and H hook ch-42, hdc 3 rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (40 sts)
ROW 2-6: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn.
RND 7: Overlap 1st 2 sts of row 6 with last 2 sts of row 6, sl st through both layers to connect into a rnd (you will be working in rnds now throughout), ch-1, hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (38 sts)
RND 8: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, turn.
RND 9: Ch-8, count over 19 sts from join, sl st that st, ch-1, turn, hdc next 8 ch, hdc next 19 sts to form the first leg hole, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (27 sts)
RND 10: (Hdc dec next 2 sts, hdc next 7 sts) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.
